Job Description

PARTNERS Family Services is accepting applications for the position of Social Worker. PARTNERS staff provide a safe, confidential and welcoming environment that assists individuals and families to meet their immediate and on going needs. Duties include crisis intervention, domestic violence counselling, program facilitation, safety planning, referrals, client advocacy, and  community presentations.
Frequent travel within 100km radius of Humboldt is required.

Family Support Worker

PARTNERS Family Services is hiring a dedicated casual Family Support Worker. Responsibilities include working directly with families in their homes in the areas of parenting, child development, life skills, etc; transportation as required; and monitoring supervised visits. The successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout the Humboldt area, and up to a 100km radius from the city. Hours vary from 0-30 hours per week, dependent on caseload.
This position is to begin as soon as possible.

– 1+ years of experience working with children, youth or families
– Certificate/diploma/degree related to social services, humanities, early childhood education, youth care, etc required
– Valid First Aid/CPR
– Criminal record and vulnerable person check
– Satisfactory driver’s abstract
– Valid Sask driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle with sufficient insurance
